# Gobo Caps

## Description

Gobo Caps is an OpenType Unicode font simulating professional manual lettering in the style typical of comics and graphic novels, specifically using a D-type Speedball calligraphic nib. It is free for both personal and professional use as detailed by the licence. The current version provides the following weights:

* Regular
* Italic

with full support of Unicode blocks

* Basic Latin
* Latin-1 Supplement
* Latin Extended-A

and basic support of

* Greek
* Cyrillic

In addition to standard Unicode glyphs Gobo Caps contains a full set of double letter ligatures for lower case basic Latin letters and a context-sensitive barred / barless I.

## Installing

Ready-made font files for Windows and Linux systems are found in the fonts folder. Download the raw files and use the standard platform-specific procedure to install them. Separate Mac fonts are not available in this release other than through the provided source files.

The source directory provides the respective project files in FontForge V20230101 format.
